What is going on with SP.....

Yes, I am back but on a limited schedule. I will be taking on one session a week until Kieran, Brayden, Hubbie and I figure out our schedule. Hopefully by spring I will be upping my work load. Session are still at a reduced rate, starting at $50. And as usual, I love a referral, I am still offering great referral bonuses for you and your friends.

Spring and Summer sessions...

Spring and summer is the most popular time of year for pictures, gotta love the outdoors! When planning your session, please call or email me at least a month before your desired date. For special occasions like Mother's Day, Easter, etc, please plan your session at least 4-5 before hand. It sounds like a long time, but between the session, post processing, proofing, ordering and getting your order back, it takes time.

Pregnancy and Newborns...

Pregnancy sessions are best done within the 32-36 week mark. You are still feeling comfortable and we run a lower risk of you going into labor before the shoot, it has happened :) Newborns are best with in the first 2 weeks of life. They change so much so quickly, we want to capture their little precious pieces as soon as possible. Please call at least a month prior to due date to schedule.

Expecting mommies, don't forget to ask about my "Welcoming Me" collection. A combination of a maternity, hospital and newborn shoot. What a great way to welcome your precious baby into this world.

Announcements/Custom Cards...

I still offer a great line of baby announcements as well as holiday cards as well. I used my family Christmas Card this year as a guinea pig for my new tri-fold cards. I cannot tell you the response I got! Our card also double as a birth announcement for Keiran.

These cards will soon be available for not only Christmas, but as birth announcements as well. These cards are all custom, including color, font and wording. Each is printed on a fine art linen paper and fold into a 5x5 size and come with an envelope.

Must have of the week...

Its baby fever around here. My BFF just had her1st baby, my cousin is expecting her 2nd and my good friend Debbie is expecting her 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Yes, triplets :)

So with all these babies, I have made my must have of the week, my favorite baby accessory, the Swaddle Blanket.

I have 2 for Kieran and recently purchased 2 from Waddle N Swaddle in Poughkeepsie, as gifts.

It is an extra large swaddle blanket that also works as nursing cover up and travel blanket in the car seat. It is warm enough for swaddling but not to thick that the baby gets over headed when used as a nursing cover.

What an exciting day...

I am an auntie!!! Well, kind of. My BFF down in Georgia had a baby girl today.

Casey only pushed for 20 mins. I have some unkind words for her :) Maybe I should take this up with Kieran since I pushed with him for 2 1/2 hours.

Its official, I am now a blogger! I thought this would be a great place to for my friends, family and clients to come and take a look at what is going on with the family as well as Surprise Photography.

I plan on sharing my favorite things, my favorite session photos as well as the who's, what's and where's of SP.
