Fun With The Kids...

We got just a bit of snow on Friday, 8-10 inches. Yuck! Bring on the sun and warm weather. I am a bare feet in the grass or sand type of person.

Here are a couple recent pics of the kiddies. I unpacked Kieran's Bumbo, a gift from my cousin, to see how he would like it. He did very well. Big brother Brayden likes to sit in it too :)


Brayden got some snow time with daddy this Saturday, I kept myself warm in the house. I was even brave enough to let daddy take my camera out in the snow to capture this fun shot:

Baby it's cold outside..

It was a little cold out today, but I got this brave expecting momma to head outside with me for some maternity pictures on her beautiful farm. Can you believe she is due any day now!

What a 1st Birthday Party....

Little Miss V celebrated her 1st birthday in style with a fabulous Valentine's theme party. Mommy did a great job with decor and kept the spirit of the party by having all guests dress in shades red or pink. Little Miss V also celebrated her birthday with 5 other family members who's birthday falls within the same month.

I had a great time and their family treated me like one of their own. Thank you!

It's Official...I'm Being Published!!!

A couple of weeks ago I came across this website, The Little Red Head Book. A book that will focus on "Little Red Heads Across America." One of my favorite little clients is a red head so I decided to contact the author, Nichole Giladi. With moms permission, I submitted some photos to the author. A day later, I got an email saying she loved the photos and couldn't resist, she wanted to use little Brody in her book. I didn't really want to shout out from the roof tops when I got the email until it was totally confirmed. Although Brody's mommy and I did a happy dance together over the phone at 11pm at night :) Well, today I got a package in the mail from the author today with the postcards above so it is confirmed. I' m being published! I am so excited!!

For my first online contest!

For the next couple of weeks, I will be looking for a fresh face to feature on my blog and to model some new clothing options I will be offering my clients. This online contest will run from February 6th to the 17th.

What I am looking for:
1) A girl between 2-4 years old (2-4t) Don't worry boys, you will get your chance ;)
2) Has never been photographed by Surprise Photography
3) Mommy must be willing to sign a model release
complete rules will be given to the winner

What I need from you:

Go Giants!

Anyone who knows me knows I love baseball. (GO SOX) Sundays during football season are my favorite days to work ;) Although from Springfield MA, my husband is a huge Giants fan. So like many other families, last night we had a Super Bowl party. The ending was bitter sweet for us. Of coarse we were happy that the Giants won, but we were also sad that my Dad, who was a life long Giants fan, wasn't here to see it. He passed away 5 months ago. I can only imagine how happy he would have been.

We took him to his first game back in 01.
